Children’s & Student Ministries
Cornerstone Church’s Children’s Ministry is a welcoming and nurturing environment where kids of all ages can grow in their faith and feel a true sense of belonging. From preschool and children’s classes to Awana and student ministries, each program is thoughtfully designed to meet kids where they are and help them build a strong foundation in God’s love.
First Time?
We’d love to welcome your child! First-time guests are always welcome, and we make it easy to jump in at any time during the year.
Parents are invited to come early on your first night to meet leaders and ask any questions you have.
Pre-school
Our preschool/nursery is filled with teachers who show the children about God’s love and what it means to live a godly life.
Please come and experience this loving area of our church and fall in love with our preschool staff.
Childrens
The cornerstone of our Children’s ministry includes two professional teachers who donate a lot of time and effort to our whole Children’s ministry.
They help us instruct and lead other teachers in a ministry that carries the theme of a loving family from the preschool forward to our children and beyond.
AWANA
Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 PM | Ages 3–5th Grade
We love partnering with families to help kids grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their relationship with Jesus. One of the most exciting ways we do that is through our AWANA program, which meets every Wednesday evening during the school year.
AWANA is a fun and engaging discipleship program that helps kids memorize Scripture, learn core truths about God, and build lasting friendships — all in a high-energy, age-appropriate environment. Whether your child is just learning to sit in a circle or is already asking big questions about faith, there’s a place for them here.
What to Expect
Our trained volunteers love kids and are committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where every child feels seen and valued.
Each evening includes:
- Small group time focused on Bible memory and discussion
- Large group teaching that brings the Gospel to life
- Game time full of fun, laughter, and teamwork

- Cubbies (Ages 3–4, potty trained)
- Sparks (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)
- T&T (Truth & Training) (3rd–5th Grade)
Students
Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 PM
Sundays | 9:00–10:00 AM
Our Student Ministry is all about helping 6th–12th graders grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We aim to create a space where students feel seen, known, and challenged to grow—and where they can have a lot of fun along the way!
Wednesday Night Youth Group
Every Wednesday night during the school year, our students gather for a high-energy night that includes:
- Bible teaching that’s relevant and engaging
- Games that get everyone moving and laughing
- Snacks (because what’s youth group without snacks?)
It’s the perfect midweek reset — a place to belong, ask real questions, and be encouraged by other students and trusted adult leaders.
Sunday Morning Small Groups
On Sundays at 9:00 AM, we offer age-divided small group Bible studies for students in both middle school and high school. These groups dive deeper into God’s Word and help students grow in their understanding of Scripture and how to live it out.
